Clinic Management
Gill Hayes RGN NDN DTM is a Specialist Nurse in travel health and manages the clinic on a day to day basis. Her interest began whilst living and working as an expatriate in the Gulf State of Bahrain and continued whilst travelling the world for many years as a Nursing Officer in the Merchant Navy. She has extensive personal travel experience from "back packing to 5 star" and has a wide range of clinical knowledge. In 2006 she was awarded a post grad Diploma in Travel Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow.

The clinic's medical practitioner, Dr Gerry Waddington MB., ChB., D.Occ Med., MRCGP, is a senior partner in a local general medical practice in Southampton. His career started in the Royal Navy and continued as a Medical Officer in the RNR until 1990. He is currently the medical consultant for Carnival UK and has held the position of fleet medical advisor to Cunard Line since 1991. He is experienced in occupational health and like Gill shares an interest in travel medicine.
